So here we are at Kiki's Club for lunch in Varadero. For some reason, I had thought this was near the hotel (Dos Mares), but in fact it was 40 blocks down the peninsula. Pizza here was good - I got the pizza with everything on it, which had shrimp, roast pork, lots of veggies, etc. Sarah had the margharita. Instead of basil they put some strange tough herb on top that sort of tasted like dandelion greens.

There was a kid catching crabs in the channel. Tourists kept coming up to him for pictures and giving him change in exchange. It's like they've never seen a kid fishing before. I bet he was just catching and releasing so that he could collect donations all day ;)

People were jumping off of the bridge.

Islazul Hotel Dos Mares - it was more ghetto in person but cheap and clean!

And like I've never seen someone working on their house before.

This is Varadero beach around Calle 51. There was pretty much no one around. It was a little too breezy for my taste but what can you do?
