  • Up on top of Mont Royal. Chiky is in the background, pissed off. Subsequently, Oli and I made a failed attempt to navigate our way off the mountain a different way than we came up, wasting a bunch of time and further unimpressing Chiky.
  • Skipping ahead to the next day, Chiky is less pissed. We had cancelled our reservation the previous night at Au Pied du Cochon and split up, so I went and discovered a better smoked meat place, The Main, which is right across the street from Schwartz's; more on that later. Here we are on the metro, heading out to find some good poutine and spruce beer at Paul Patates.
